Speedheat floor surface heating is a new maintenance free concept in discreet and superior comfort heating – the 1mm thin electric blanket is installed directly under the floor finish, heating up the floor in minutes. Speedheat floor heating is suitable under new tiles, vinyl, wood or carpets/rugs and costs from about $45/sq m, depending on area and floor finish. The heaters last the lifetime of the building because of the double Teflon coated wire and the self-regulating element. Safe and suitable to heat homes, schools and nursing homes, Speedheat floor heating is waterproof and fully earthed. Carpet heaters can also be installed under existing carpets or rugs over existing floors.
