Underfloor heating could be the only heating system you need in your entire house. All rooms or areas can be controlled separately, it does not affect the aesthetics of your home, and it is compatible with most flooring types. If you are building your dream home or undertaking a renovation project, electric underfloor heating is an economical way to heat your house.
Seamlessly Integrated Design
Speedheat underfloor heating systems are installed directly underneath the floor finish, this creates a much quicker response time with reduced energy consumption. Response time is from 30 – 45 minutes, depending on the floor finish and the insulation installed.
Benefits
Underfloor heating could act as the main source of heating, there is absolutely no need for any other forms of heating in the room. We recommend covering at least 60% of the room, making sure there is sufficient heat distribution to heat the area.
Our innovative design is suitable for all new builds and renovations
Speedheat in-floor heating only requires +/- 2mm of build-up. We install our electric in-floor heating system between your existing slab and underneath whatever floor covering you prefer; stone, ceramic, hardwood, concrete, timber under tile heating, linoleum, laminate, even under carpet heating.
Improved Indoor Air Quality and Allergen Reduction
The lack of air movement reduces dust and allergens circulating in the air, which is advantageous to people with allergies and respiratory conditions. Floor heating does not dry the air the way convection heating does. Underfloor heating provides climatic conditions that reduce the growth of dust mites and moulds.
Customizable Control:
We offer two types of thermostats: MCD5: A programmable touchscreen thermostat;
MWD5: A programmable touchscreen WiFi thermostat
Both thermostats are available in white and matte black. Sleek and stylish, we suggest installing them near a light switch for easy access. The cutout size matches that of a standard light switch, so it won’t disrupt your room’s design. For holiday homes, we strongly recommend the WiFi thermostat, as it allows for remote control. If you use a home automation system or prefer not to have visible thermostats, they can be installed inside a cupboard or vanity.
