To get the benefits oradiant underfloor heating, you don’t need to go to the effort of doing a complete renovation. There are a number of options available for heating spaces where you don’t have the option of lifting the floor coverings and putting in a more permanent solution.  These are portable heating solutions that use the same underfloor heating technology we install under your flooring.

RUG HEATERS

Our Rug Heater slips effortlessly and discretely under your existing, or new rug bringing a gentle radiant heat to the space. The heater is simply placed on top of a thin underlay followed by your rug and plugs into a normal power point or even a timer (not provided) should you choose. They can be used on any existing floor surface where you wish to lay a rug, overexposed floorboards, tiles, cork tiles, lino or carpet. Save money on your power bill and just heat under your favourite sitting area, your bedroom for an evening, your kids play area or your home office.

If you can’t install permanent underfloor heating (yet!) this option will warm not only your toes, but the air around it. For small rooms, the rug heater might be all that you need to heat the room, for larger rooms it will give you beautiful, radiant heat around where you are sitting. Oh, and the animals in the house will love it!

CARPET MAT HEATERS/ CARAVAN HEATERS

These heaters are carpet rugs that have underfloor heating embedded into the rug and a standard power point lead attached. They are ideal for placing under desks or you can add a touch of luxury in your caravan or camper trailer and take them with you on the road. They are robust and come in a neutral colour to suit most décor. They are very low wattage and are generally more efficient, and provide better heat than a small fan heater.
