HOW DO SMART THERMOSTATS CONTROL INDIVIDUAL ROOMS?

Smart thermostats are connected to the heaters within a designated zone/ room. The thermostat is able to then control the heater based on either the air temperature in that room or the floor temperature.

CAN YOU HAVE A THERMOSTAT IN EVERY ROOM?

WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO PUT A ROOM THERMOSTAT?

Thermostats can be placed anywhere within a room that the client decides. We recommend that a thermostat should not be installed near a window or near a heating duct for accurate temperature monotiling and management.

DO I NEED A SMART THERMOSTAT FOR EACH ROOM?

Smart thermostats are recommended for each room. The reason it is preferable to have a thermostat in each room is that you then need to only heat up the relevant room in the house rather than the entire house. By having a smart thermostat in each room you will be able to save costs on your energy bills.

HOW DO I SET UP MULTIPLE THERMOSTATS?

Each thermostat should be programmed to the needs of that room. We recommend having a chat to our install team or our friendly support staff if you have any queries about your thermostat.

CAN MULTIPLE THERMOSTATS WORK TOGETHER?

Yes multiple thermostat’s can be linked together. We suggest to our clients to link them to a home automation system so that everything works together seamlessly.

Not all types of Timber Flooring are compatible with Speedheat. This floor surface allows for a maximum temperature of 27 degrees. Ask your wood floor supplier for further information on flooring allowed.

Floor heating under laminate

Speedheat electric floor heating quickly and economically heats up your laminated floor. Our heating consultants will advise you of the best heating solutions and floor build-up to suit your needs.

Floor heating under cement finish

Creating a healthy environment and preventing airborne dust, Speedheat is a great choice for your cement flooring.

Mirror heating

Speedheat mirror and bathroom heating is fully earthed. It uses less energy than a light bulb and is safe. In addition to custom sizes, a number of pre-built sizes of mirror demisters are available.
