DO I NEED TO SCREED OVER THE HEATING BEFORE THE DECORATIVE SCREED GETS INSTALLED?

No. Our product is only 1.5mm thick and can therefore sit within the decorative screed/cement floor finish.

CAN SPEEDHEAT UNDERFLOOR HEATING GO ON TOP OF AN EXISTING FLOOR?

Absolutely! Speedheat can be installed on an existing floor when you change your floor covering. Speedheat only requires an additional build-up height of +/- 2 mm, which is in almost all cases available.

DO I HAVE TO HEAT THE WHOLE HOUSE OR CAN I JUST DO SOME AREAS?

Speedheat can be installed in as many or as little rooms as you like. Each room Is individually controlled and therefore you have the freedom to pick and choose where you want it.

CAN I INSTALL THE HEATING MYSELF?

A qualified electrician is required to do the final connection of the underfloor heating system.

HOW QUICKLY WILL IT HEAT UP?

Decorative screeds/cement finishes are usually quite thin and therefore result in an extremely quick heat up time. The floor finish will start to warm up within 5-10minutes of being switched on and the room should be at the desired temperature within 30-40minutes (floor finish thickness and room type will vary these times)
